Personal
Profile:
I have
lived in Didsbury for the past 25+ years and so have established
strong roots in this community. My husband,
Brian and I live on an acreage with our 3 great kids (Evan, Brennan & Holly). We
enjoy living in the country and calling Didsbury our home. I
have a keen interest in our hospital and believe that keeping
the facility viable and the community involved in what happens
there is extremely important.
I have been a licensed Realtor since 2003 and I am dedicated to providing you
with top notch service. I will ensure that the process of finding that special
home or selling the one you have now is as smooth as possible. I really enjoy
the connections I have made with my clients and I find it very gratifying to
assist the growing list of people who need help with real estate. My pledge to
you is my honesty, integrity and commitment to you when you are making one of
the biggest decisions in your life, your home.
Community
Involvement:
I had the honor of organizing the first Biomedical Interventions
for Autism Conference to Calgary in 2003 and have been very active in autism
research since we do have a personal interest (Evan has autism).
-I started Special Families Research Association geared toward supporting parents
and caregivers of special needs children.
- I have been involved in feedback discussions for Family Support for Children
with Disabilities (Handicapped Children's Services) and was part of a group that
helped with the revision of the current Children with Disabilities Act (still
has a ways to go.....).
-I created and chair the Friends of the Didsbury Hospital. FODH is a group of
people from the communities who use Didsbury Hospital who want to see our hospitals
vitality grow and have strong communication between those who use the facility & the
Calgary Health Region.
